At the risk of talking to myself here, I just wanted to see if there was anyone else out there TTC. Anyone? Anyone?

I know that there used to be fairly active TTC threads on this board, so I thought I would just check if there are other TTCers who were wishing for a thread to discuss.

Kim you read my mind. We are TTC #2 and are on our third cycle. We had some trouble conceiving DS and I am soooo hoping this time is easier!

(Oh and if anyone's lurking or posts here and is a friend of mine on Facebook it is NOT okay to mention/post about this on there. No one IRL knows we're TTC) ;)

Glad to hear I'm not alone or talking to myself (I do enough of that IRL :))

Are you seeing an RE? I am in the middle of my second cycle with our RE. We're doing injectibles with IUI. We got pregnant last June on Gonal-F with IUI but I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks, so now we're back on the fertility wagon.

I didn't have a lot of hope for last month's cycle because DH fumbled the cup and lost half the speciman. Frustrating to say the least, but I didn't say anything to him because I knew he already felt bad, plus we do IUIs two days in a row.

So I'm hopeful for this cycle. But not too hopeful, because frankly, that just ends up being a bad thing for me mentally.

No we didn't see an RE but I was medicated for the whole first trimester and I'm convinced it's the reason we have DS. We had two losses before him.

Do you chart temps at all? I do and despite being woken at varying times by DS, my chart is usually easy to read. This cycle my chart says I'm 7DPO but I am starting to wonder?

This is our third cycle trying and I'm really just hoping that last time was hard enough and we'll catch a break this time. I get pregnant, go on the medicine, carry to term. Sounds easy right? ;)

I was wondering if anyone on the boards were TTC (and wanted to out themselves) so I'm glad you started this thread!

Well Paige it looks like it's just you and me here. ;) But I'm glad to know I'm in good company.

I don't chart my temps- I did for a very long time, but since we're going the fertility route, I just rely on my doctor's office to tell me when the time is right. Do you use ovulation sticks at all? I've spent boat loads of money on those, but the just don't work for me (actually I think the reason they don't work, is because I don't ovulate, so maybe they are working ).

My fingers ar crossed for you that the third cycle is the charm!

I'm also hopeful for this month. I triggered on Friday and did back to back IUI's on Saturday and Sunday. So now it's just the waiting game. I hate that game.

Anyone else out there??

Hi ladies!

I'm not TTC, I found out I was pregnant in Feb. Hubby and I got pregnant our 1st cycle. We knew we were going to start trying in Jan. so in November I tried temping and charting....oh man that lasted less then a week. That was just not for me. In Dec. I started using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor since it takes a few months to get to know your cycles.

In Jan. we started trying and got pregnant using the monitor. I HIGHLY recomend the monitor. It takes all the guess work out TTC. I doubt I would have gotten pregnant so quickly without it.

A new one is pricey but you can get used ones on ebay much cheaper and reset them, that it what I did. Clearblue easy says it's a 1 user item....that's total BS! Also I bought the test sticks for it online (much cheaper) from early-pregnancytests.com

Good luck ladies!!

Robin- Thanks for the info on the monitor

Kim - My fingers are crossed for you that this is it! I'm just entering the two-week wait for this cycle and actually seeing the doctor on Tues to see if we need to start on some interventions. I'm having a lot of spotting which could be another arrow pointing towards the progesterone deficiency.
