I bought a bag of fancy dried apricots at TJ's and only used a few for a recipe yesterday (the triple fruit scones - which I made for our supper club dinner last night - and they turned out fantastic!). Does anyone know if I can freeze the rest of them, or how long they'd keep in the pantry or fridge if I didn't freeze them?
Hi Barrie. I freeze several kinds of organically grown, non-sulfured dried fruit and would recommend it if you are planning on keeping it for more than a few months. I don't know if this is necessary if your fruit has preservatives.

I don't know if this is comparable, but I've frozen dried cherries for months with no problem! I don't know how long they'd keep otherwise, but I just had a fear of these expensive treats getting fuzzy!
