Posting problem -- multiple sign ins required

For a while now, the BB is not remembering me when I sign in. Minor annoyance. Now, for the last couple of days, it has been requiring me to sign in to type my reply (normal other than not remembering me) and then sign in again when I try to submit the reply. Any explanation for this?

Are you clicking the remember me checkbox when you sign in?

Now that all the https stuff is gone, that's the only thing I can think of that would cause this.

If you are and it's still not working, let me know what browser and version and operating system and version you're using and I'll open a tech support ticket.

I have done it both ways and I'm not sure if the second sign in is required then or not -- I'll try over the next day or two and see if it makes any difference. I know it is not remembering me when I do check the box.

I have windows XP and have been using Mozilla Firefox for a while because I was having too many problems in internet explorer. Firefox crashes when I try to use my email, so I'm about to look for something else.

Try clicking on the "Log in" on the first sign in without typing in your username and password. This will take you to the second sign in where you then type in your username and password. This will speed things up a little until you get a permanent fix.

There's no reason you should still be having to log in twice. I've opened a help ticket and will let you know when I hear something back.

Tech support says to try clearing out your cookies. In Firefox, you can do that by going to "Clear Private Data" under the Tools menu, check the cookies checkbox and click "clear private data now." After that, quit Firefox, restart, and try again.

Fair warning--clearing your cookies will also cause any other sites that you have logged into with remember me checked to forget you. You'll just have to log in again the first time you go back to them.

If this doesn't work, please let me know and we can have tech support look into it further.

If you download the Firefox add-on Sxipper (http://www.sxipper.com/), clearing cookies is easier because Sxipper remembers your usernames and passwords and fills them in for you.
