I was just reading through a revived thread "Favorite Pork Tenderloin Recipe?" and found the following:

The "degree" sign is not coming out right as seen in this post (http://community.cookinglight.com/showpost.php?p=1160007&postcount=3)

From the same thread saute 30 seconds comes out reading "saut頳0 seconds" as posted here (http://community.cookinglight.com/showpost.php?p=1160030&postcount=8).

Below my own attempts at

° = degree sign

é = e with accent

ETA: Obviously the problems only affect old threads so there is a fix. Great!!!

The change that we made appears to have only partially worked on archived threads. There has been some discussion of republishing the entire database to fix everything--that will probably happen in the next few days.

Thank you so much for going through the trouble of re-publishing your database.

Recently a question came up regarding what sour dough starter to use. I searched the archives and "struck gold" in this thread (http://community.cookinglight.com/archive/index.php/t-1151.html) - only to find that some measurements were replaced with "?". I just went back and found the text complete. Baking is like chem lab to me and I'm so glad it's been corrected.

Happy dance!!!

I am still seeing the odd square character (with the letters FFFD inside) in place of fractions in older threads. For example, http://community.cookinglight.com/showthread.php?t=55399
