key lime pie

Has anybody tried the CL recipe for key lime pie? I'm going to the Florida Keys next week and wanted to make this with the key limes that are available down there. Thanks in advance!

There are two recipes and I have tried them both. We liked both of them but I liked the one that has a meringue and that you bake the best. Is this the one you mean?

Thanks for responding! The recipe I found does have a meringue topping and is baked...it's in the June section of the 1997 CL cookbook. I also found a recipe called Key Lime Squares in the Oct. section of the CL 1999 cookbook. Is that the other one that you tried? I've never made a meringue topping before. Is it difficult? It's very hot and humid down there so I don't know if that will affect the meringue. Anyway, I might just carry both recipes down and try not to go off my diet too badly!
