Why not? What'd I miss? It's an old, bumped-up thread; I just skimmed it and wonder what the mystery is . . . :confused:

The tech team has come back to us saying it would take a full day of board downtime to fix the old threads. We're considering whether or not it's worth it right now.

In the thread you posted, the only messed-up character you're seeing is the é in Pépin, correct?

It's just the é though it looks like a smudged Chinese character or spilled ink.

The tech team has come back to us saying it would take a full day of board downtime to fix the old threads. We're considering whether or not it's worth it right now.

In the thread you posted, the only messed-up character you're seeing is the é in Pépin, correct?

Naturally it would inconvenience way too many BB members to close down the board a full day in order to fix old threads.
I'm sure nobody would think it's worth it.
