Hi, I am an avid fan of cooking light and food in general. I am soon to be divorced (eeeeeeeeeek!!!) and need to meet people as I am also new to the St. Louis area...I am 32 and looking to join a group of young single men and women in this area. Any such group out there????? Thanks, Julie.....

I am soooo glad to see your message... I haven't been able to find an established group but would love to get one going -- so let's talk! I live in St. Louis and am also a thirtysomething(!). I'd like to set it up so that we try out new recipes and all kinds of cuisines, throw some wine tasting in there and maybe check out restaurants around town. Let me know what you think.

I am very interested in being a part of a group, however let me tell you how insane my life is right now....I am in the process of a divorce which is absolutely the most horrible thing I've ever had to do. I have two small kids, ages almost 3 and almost 5 who don't know a thing. I will be closing on a house on the 31st, and I have a little dog who just had surgery. Also I am in St. Louis with no family and only one friend. Ugh. Sooooooo what I am trying to get at here is, I would love to be involved, but cannot possibly be the one to get it going, toooooo much on my plate as it is....oh and I will be also trying to start my personal chef business in the midst of all of this too. so If you get it going and need members, I'd be happy to be a part of it eventually, but right now.....don't think so....I will keep your email handy and please keep mine, if you get any info. or if you do end up getting a group together, please let me know,,,,my social calendar looks pretty bleak and I will need to be with people on those weekends when my soon-to=be ex has the kiddos,,,, I am going to be living in Ballwin.....thanks for your reply and please keep me posted ok? Wow I too am working on the life of separation and I am really interested in starting/joining a club.
I am in the Detroit area, and I need to fill those times when the kids are at their dads.
Anyone in the area interested please contact me, I am even interested in a vegatarian club, and maybe setting up a side kid club around the holidays..

I have some cooking "profesisionally" experience, and I would love to be together with people who share my food enthuse.
