DH Does 1/2 Ironman Sunday - Wish us Luck!

After months of training, my DH does a 1/2 Ironman on Sunday! This will be his second 1/2 Ironman - then he starts marathon training!

Very best of luck!! My boyfriend does his next ultra-endurance event in a few weeks, so I can relate to what you're both going through with the training and stress. :rolleyes: ;)

Natasha - thanks for asking!

He was very pleased with his race. It was a very hard course with a couple of monster hills on the bike course between miles 40-52. The run course was also fairly hilly. His average on the bike was 20.5. We think he's in the top 30 overall on the bike out of a field of 250.

I can't recall what his run pace was but his overall time was around 5:40

Needless to say, I'm very proud of him. So glad I didn't marry one of those guys who watch sports all day but wouldn't even think about breaking a sweat!
