Ok, let's try some more things...
The New Thread button is slightly pixellated.
The Quote button is fully pixellated.
The font color dropdown still doesn't work right. (Teeny tiny box with no color selections in it)
After saving an edit, the edit screen doesn't go away. I have to press F5 (refresh) to get that edit screen to clear.

I too am seeing all four of those problems. We had some software upgrades this morning that may have caused at least the first two. I've opened a tech support ticket about them all.

Awesome, thank you.
yeah, the first 2 on the list did appear today after the "fix".
Oh, one more. Certain characters, such as fractions and international letters, appear as small boxes. That's fairly new, about a month or 2.

When I logged on this morning, the latest posts were dated March 2009! I thought I was seeing things, but I guess they are working on the program behind the scenes?

Hi BucknellAlum--
That problem was a result of the updates, but the posts reappeared later on in the morning. You can see everything back to March now, correct?

Yes, I can see current threads now.
I am wondering if the 20 "pharmaceutical" spams somehow slipped in today with all these technical things going on?

The red-faced mad smily/angry icon doesn't show - only the  :( :( :(
Glad I checked "General Tech Support". This answers my question why I suddenly had to log in again. The second time I remembered to check the box for "remember me on this computer". Hope it works.

The picture showing the secret code used for doing a search is not showing. It's just a red X.
I always wondered why we would need to put in a code to search. I've only seen this used when trying to post on other sites.

Now where did the edit button go??? Wanted to add a line to this post from yesterday
http://community.cookinglight.com/showpost.php?p=1494300&postcount=3
but it was nowhere to be found. Is there a time limit??? For other posts like this one I am able to add a few words.

There is a time limit. I think it's 24 hours, but could be less. Not exactly sure.

Yes, there is a 24-hour window in which you can edit your own posts; after that you cannot. If you'd like me to change or remove one of your posts, please e-mail me at cl_comeditor@timeinc.com

Are we from now on supposed to control our anger as the "mad" button remains a  ?
We'll have to be creative when posting under "Other Stuff".
Thanks for explaining the 24-hour editing window.

swedish cook, I think you can find ways to express anger without the mad smilie for now...:)
The pixillated new thread and quote buttons have now been fixed. Let me know if you still have that problem.
As for the font color dropdown and edit screen issues, they're a bit more complex. I'm trying to figure out what we need to do to fix those.

I saw that, thanks.

It happened after the upgrade a few months back. Can't the older code be reapplied to fix those? (Asking as if I know what I'm talking about. LOL)

What about the tabs actually saying the title of the thread? I really miss that!

I wonder why they won't fix the mad smilie. I still only have a little box with a red x in it.

So, it appears 3 out of 4 are fixed.
Still a problem with the font dropdown box.

And no colors.
I just do the colors manually exchanging "black" for whatever color I want.

Oops, that what I meant. Color, not the fonts themselves.

Yeah, but that can be time consuming. And when the functionality has been there before, why would it be lost now? I think these have to be easy things to recreate. After all they had them before.
