I just found a request for this recipe in an archived thread I was searching. I don't think I posted it then (at least I know it wasn't on that thread). This is a good coffee/snack style cake.

1 18.25 oz package yellow cake mix -- divided
1 large egg
2 egg whites
1 2/3 cups Libby's Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
