The recent article in Cooking Light really got me interested in Supper Clubs. Eating good healthy food and meeting new people, nothing wrong with that.

I am noticing that although we are all in the Triangle, we have some people in Cary, others in Durham, etc...once Christy gathers all the interested people...perhaps we can evaluate if we need more than one club so we don't have to travel across the Triangle for our dinners...especially if we try to meet on weeknights...just an idea...

My husband & I were planning on attending the meeting this week, but now we've found out that there's Open House that night at my son's school. I'm afraid we'll now be unable to attend the supper club meeting. But we are VERY interested in doing this. We live in North Raleigh, and due to work schedules, we would like to be involved in a group that gets together on weekends.

I received an email from Christy that there is a group meeting tonight- Wednesday- at the Cary Crossroads Olive Garden at 7pm.... hope that helps!

I did not see the date and time for the first meeting until Thursday am. Can anyone post an update from that meeting? I am still interested and would like to find out what is going on.

I was unable to attend the meeting last night. How did it go? Perhaps the rest of us that didn't get in on that meeting, could see about another meeting. We might have enough people for more than one group.

I hope it is not too late my I and possibly my partner would be interested in joining the group. We live in the Apex area if there are going to be multiple groups. I also have another friend who might be interested in joining a group, he lives in Pittsboro...

Someone please update me as to the status of the group(s)! I am really excited about the idea of meeting new people ad having some great dinners!

I am ager to start in a supper club so why don't those who want to and are waiting for replies from someone else, e-mail me at susan_neilson@ncsu.edu and we can plan a meeting. Start our own. There seems to be enough of us waiting in the wings. How about it? I will compile our addresses and then we can plan a meeting somewhere and get started. ALso, send me an idea of where you live so I can think of a middle ground place to meet in the area.
