i'm in boynton, but i just had a baby, so i'm not sure how much i could participate. i think it would be fun to join a supper club. are you looking to include spouses/SO's?

Hey guys-we have a Miami Supper Club. One of our members lives in Aventura, one in Miami beach, and I live in South Miami. Don't know if any of you would like to join ours. Marisa-I have a 20 month old baby, I started the supper club when she was aobut 6 months, and she's been to every one! She would love a supper club playmate. Our group is lots of fun-we don't always stick to Cooking Light recipes (we've been to known to use more than 1 tbs. of olive oil in a recipe:p ) and we have been known to kick back a few bottles of wine-well, sour apple martinis at our last one. Our next supper club is at my house on Sept. 15-I live the farthest from all of you, but we would still love to have any/all of you-one of our members recently moved out of state, and we are looking for new members. Our various boyfriends/spouses always participate and have a great time!

I think that I would enjoy the Sept. event in Miami. I also have a 7 month old that might come with me if that is OK. Would anyone like to carpool?

The miami group sounds interesting, but I really think it's too far for me to drive most times. I'd love to meet you all, but let's try to form a group a little to the north! I plan on bringing my husband along, so I would say newborns are definitely welcome!:)

phoenix, i thought miami was a bit too far, but i'm glad to hear you also have a 7-month-old that would be interested in participating!! ;) wellington isn't far from us at all; in fact, our baby was born at wellington hospital! it would be great if the palm beach county supper club (well, that's what i'm calling it for now!) includes spouses and babies! but i can understand that some people would want it to be just for grown-ups; i think i'm ok with it either way as long as spouses are welcome.

LCPTEACH- I would also like to try for an area further north than Miami, maybe Deerfield to Boynton. I am all for including spouses. Please email me directly and let me know what other ideas you have.

Hi Everyone!
I live in Palm Beach Gardens and would be very interested in a group. I prefer an adult group (My baby has her own baby now!) and would love to include my husband. We moved to Florida from Vermont a year ago and used to have a great time cooking and sharing meals with buddies up there, but haven't found anyone down here to do that with, yet.

I think that we should meet at a resturant first so that we can get to know people and plan. How does that sound?

I live in Weston and would love to see some responses from West Broward. We are empty nesters who enjoy dining out as well as entertaining. Anyone interested in forming a group that does both?

phoenix, that could be a good idea for our 1st meeting. any ideas where?

moodmom, i'm willing to try having my parents baby-sit for a supper club evening. we try to include our little one in everything we do, but i can understand that it might damper the fun if she starts crying!!! where in VT are you from? we're heading to burlington in sept/oct to see the foliage (my 1st time to VT!)

were you all thinking about doing the supper club on a weekend or weeknight? my vote is for weekend, since DH tends to have to work late during the week.

Phoenix, I'm certainly up for restaurant meeting. Name the place. We are flexible after work hours.

MB: I was born and brought up in Burlington. Have you ever been there before? Are you going for business or pleasure? You certainly are chosing the very nicest time of the year....Fall is beautiful in Vermont.
