ugh...really? You know if you'd have read the comments, my mom gave my WHOLE name - all of it. But, my actualy first name is Teresa and if you knew me prior to college that's probably what you called me, but in college I switched to Terri. I just never really fit Teresa - I fit Terri MUCH better. Of course, my mother would tell you that I was almost a "Darlene" which would not have fit me AT ALL!!!!

Darlene....yes, you are not a Darlene.....I was almost an Allison. Was Darlene a family name?

You know, I knew it was Teresa, but for some reason in my head I was not pronouncing it "Teresa" and I was thinking it was more like "Teressa"????

That was a great post by Staci.

My sister took great entertainment value from the fact that my grandmother wanted my mother to name me Portia and my brother Nathan. I bet you are nearer a Darlene than I am Portia! :p
