I am not a regular reader of Eating Well, but they seem to cover the same territory as Cooking Light in terms of health and nutrition. How do their recipes compare? Any significant differences?

EW, in my opinion, repeats themselves less than CL. To be fair, they also have fewer recipes per issue than CL which makes that easier.

My preferred magazine is EW, because it focuses on the food and has terrific, in-depth articles. But I've been reading CL for years and just flip past the first 1/3 of the magazine to get to the recipes.

I like both but I prefer EW because I think they focus a lot more on whole grains. Their recipes seem a little creative to me also. I have been using CL quite a bit lately also though because they just have sooo many recipes in their database. So I guess its a toss-up. :). I will say I don't think I will ever get rid of my EW subscription, but I don't feel a need to subscribe to CL at all. I can read EW cover to cover.
