Sorry KateH - I missed your question on this the first time around.
For the tofu recipe I used Thai Kitchen Red Curry Paste. If this isn't hot enough for you I'd be in awe of your ability to tolerate heat!!
My supermarket has a decent selection of Thai Kitchen items (even here in Indiana where anything unusual is exotic), so hopefully you'll be able to find it. Good luck...
