I have been wanting to make biscotti for a while now. This recipe was extremely easy if you work the wet ingredients into the dry with your floured hands. Whisking will not work. Once you get past that hump, these Italian cookies are a cinch.

Were they really delicious? I cut this recipe out when I got the December magazine but never made them. We're going to spend Christmas with our closest friends in Florida this year, a first for us as we've never been anywhere but home for Christmas, and I've been trying to come up with lots of goodies we can take with us that will travel well.

They look sooooo good on your blog, made me want to make some! (I am on those days of the month when only chocolate will do!;):D)

dcollier,
These were definitely very yummy. They had a good flavor and a very nice texture. Some biscotti I have purchased premade were so hard that they hurt to eat them. These seemed perfect in that regard. I brought them to work and everyone really loved them. I think they would be great for the holiday and will most assuredly travel easily.
Thanks for the compliment, Aninha!
