I have REALLY fallen off the band wagen. I can totally see how someone can be an alcoholic. I had eaten so much this week that I decided I needed a fast yesterday to cleanse my body. I just felt awful. Maybe that's why I felt so sluggish yesterday? I didn't feel hungry, so I know that I had really eaten too much the past few days.

I am on track for today. I have a meal plan for this week. Friday I may be going to a function where I will not have control of my food, so I really need to exercise.

I also need to get enough sleep. When I don't have enough rest, I don't make good decisions, don't have enough energy to exercise nor prepare meals.

Goal: Lose nine pounds and one inch by Nov. 1. This is totally realistic if I stay on track.

Are you going to Weight Watchers or just following their plan?

Don't forget to drink water!

I've been doing WW for a while, but only got really committed this past summer....

Hi Muriel,

I am only doing the plan. I lost weight with going to the WW meetings, and I know that people are more likely to lose weight when they attend meetings. However, right now my "budget diet" is a higher priority than my weight diet. If this does not work, I could go back, pay the one-time fee for not weighing in monthly and change my goal to what I weigh now and then go to the meetings to get to my REAL goal...but I'm not sure that would work either.

I was hoping that once I found a job, I would focus my energy on a new "project". Maybe today's the day.

Hey Jennifer;

I just joined the online program because I needed something to kickstart my motivation and I have gained the new orleans 10 since moving here last year :D

Would love to have a check in buddy and maybe a return to caring about the me I want to be! :D

I'm down about 36 lbs. after joining a few months ago...come on over to the Community (beta) boards and join the Great Gal's Losing It community...it's a great support group!

I know I have to be on some kind of plan for the rest of my life...WW fits the bill for me...I can drink my favorite wine, go out to dinner, and eat everything...and still lose weight!

I fell off the WW Wagon last week, but I was cooking a very low sodium diet for my dad who has congestive heart failure and lost weight anyway! I am trying to stick to a low sodium diet, but write down my points from now on. It works!
