I just moved to the city, and love it! I thought meeting some new people while cooking up some tasty food would be a great way to spend some time.

I'm interested in starting a Supper Club in Boston, especially if another person would like to collaborate with me to start the group! I'm a "foodie" in Boston -- I know a lot of the inside industry in this town and am ready to share my wealth of knowledge and my love of good food!

I have been trying to start a dinner club with my friends/coworkers, but I seem to be the only one who is truely interested in cooking:) I would love to become a part of something in the Boston area. I live in the South End and work in Brighton.

I'm also interested in a joining a supper club in Boston. I like to cook and especially like trying new recipes, including trying different cuisines from around the world. I've been receiving the cooking light magazines for 6 years or so and enjoy learning how to cook healthier. But I enjoy the occassional splurge with recipes I find in Gourmet or Bon Appetit.
I live in Dorchester and work downtown near the state house.

Boston Friends, It's great to see the interest. A lot of people have visited the "thread". It seems like there is about 4 of us so far willing to committing to the next step. My thoughts would be to wait for a few more People to get on board, then to schedule an introduction at a nuetral location. What are your thoughts?

I think that your ideas sound great. I have been in touch with Jess and she has had numerous people call her. So there may be a small number of people to get started with. I am going to call her to touch base and I will let her know that you both are still very interested. -Betsy
Count me in! I would love to participate in a Boston supper club. I'm a medical student and I live in Brighton. Any set plans yet on the first meeting?

Whoops, I seem to have deleted my first posting by accident. I'm definitely interested, so I guess that brings us up to six people so far.

I'm also interested. I live in the city-but I don't have a car. If there is enough people-maybe we could have one situated such that we would try to keep it T accessible (e.g., Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, etc.)?

Sounds like there's a good number of people interested in this Boston Supper Club -- time to plan an organizational meeting and get started!
Is a weekend or a weeknight better for everyone? Let me know.
I'm thinking sometime mid-week next week, if possible, at a central location (maybe Blue Cat Cafe on Mass Ave. between Comm Ave and Newbury St -- it's pretty quiet in there and they have really good drinks!).
PLEASE reply back soon so I can get an idea of what's going on so we can get this group running soon! I look forward from hearing from anyone interested, either by email or you can call me at 617-713-4468.
Thanks, and happy cooking/eating!!!

I've talked to a few interested people tonight, so far, so lets set a time and place to meet...Wednesday, September 5th at 7pm at the Blue Cat Cafe...how does that sound? It's a central location, easily accesible by the T, and there's plenty of room there to eat and discuss how we want to get this group organized and running...PLEASE reply and let me know if you'll be there!

Hello everyone.....I am new to this web-site and would love some helpful hints. I have been reading cooking light magazine for a little over a year now and really enjoy it. I have not had much oppertunity to do much cooking between school and work, so I thought this would be the perfect solution!! I live in Medway, Ma which is about 40 min from the city, but I am willing to drive in to meet up with everyone......that is if there is room for me!
Please email me and fill me in on the meeting and if there is enough room!!

Hi, I am really interested in joining up with you to cook, share food, recipes, etc. I've been getting Cooking Light for a few years and love to try new recipes. I also have a friend who I love to cook with who wants to participate--we're two friendly medical students in the area (I live in Brookline Village). Unfortunately, I can't make it this Wed night. Is there someone I should contact who can catch me up on any plans that were made? Let me know! Thanks!

Hi all,
I live in JP and love the idea of a supper club. I'm not able to come to the meeting tomorrow night, as I won tix to Cirque du Soleil. However, my evenings are generally pretty flexible, and I would be happy to be counted in on future gatherings. I need a good reason to cook!
Please let me know. Thanks!
