Question about Recipe Search

I am new to this board and am wondering about the Recipe Search function. Does it contain recipes from back issues? I cannot find any of the back issue recipes mentioned on any of these threads!

the recipe search does have recipes from back issues--not ALL recipes, but a lot ot them. you can also search the bulletin boards and archives by ingredient or key word. and, if all else fails, you can always post a recipe request on the boards! have a great friday!

Another thing about the recipe search: sometimes it's a trifle quirky, I've found. If nothing comes up and the recipe happens to have been published between 1994 and 1999, there's also an annual listing of recipes on the left-hand column which is good to check for the exact name of the recipe (as for example with the crawfish recipe asked for this week, which was listed as crayfish in the database.)

We are fortunate here in that an awful lot of folks seem to have Mastercook or back issues of CL. Chances are very good if you can't find a recipe on CL's recipe search, somebody here can post it. (Or if they've already posted it on one of the boards, click on the little tiny search above the bulletin board and check that way.)
