Supper Clubs Austin,tx

Hi I am looking to maybe join a supper club in Austin. Is there a supper club that might be interested in a new member?

We have a Supper Club in Austin with members ranging from North Austin down to Buda.We generally meet monthly, switching homes for hosting. Currently, there is a core group of about 8-11 people, couples mostly but also singles. When everything lines up, sometimes we can have around 18-20. Usually there are between 8 to 14 at dinner.

We are a very relaxed, eclectic group. We collaborate on a theme, use email to co-ordinate things with each other and for the most part share a planned potluck of dishes. There's usually a cluster in the kitchen of last minute prep, reheating, final steps. Everyone brings beverage of choice to share. We stay relatively within the framework of CL and healthy food choices.

Our next get together is going to be a cocktail party in December,probably the 12th. In January, we are planning on cooking at the Ronald McDonald House. If you want more information, please contact me.

Thanks Megan for directing me to this thread... I'm an engineer in my mid-30s, and have started/been part of supper clubs wherever I've lived in the US. I really enjoyed the experience and food... would love to do it again in Austin. I moved from San Francisco for an MS at UT-Austin and for work - my husband is still in SF and will join us for dinners that coincide with his visits to Austin!

I'm an omnivore but respect everyone's dietary choices and try to accommodate them as much as possible. I live in Central Austin - the Cherrywood neighbourhood.
