Hi all - I'm new to this section of the CLBB but not new to the BB. My stepdaughter will be giving birth to our new granddaughter next Wednesday (we and SHE hopes - she says she feels 91/2 mo pregnant!). Anyway, this week-end I want to do some make head things I can freeze and take to her so she can have some meals for the first few weeks. She loves my lasagna but it has lots of garlic and onion would this work? I'm not sure what nursing moms can or should have. I'd love some ideas for meals I can make and freeze to take to her this week-end. TIA -
Trish

My kids did fine with anything, but there certainly are kids who do better with blander food. Any chance you could make that dish with less garlic and onions?

I am a breastfeeding mom, and I have found that you just need to try foods and see how the baby reacts to it. Sometimes it is so hard to tell if it affects them for not. Congrats on the new little one
