Alright, who's in?
I propose a chicago/western suburbs supper club. We'll be grounded in the near-west 'burbs, but we'll welcome other interested folks. I think David is right (see previous Chicago club strings) - we don't want too large a group, so splitting up may be appropriate and we surely can't accommodate everyone in one leap. Meeting with other area groups once/year sounds fun, too.

Let's meet the week after Labor Day to chat & brainstorm. Does everyone want to bring a dish or do you want to meet where someone will cook for us?

Someone propose a date/time/place. Let's get cookin'!

Hello,

Count my mom and I in (LaGrange Park). My preference is to meet first time at a restaurant and get plans rolling. We could then maybe plan something for the end of the month. I don't know about anybody else, but I would be a little nervous cooking for people I haven't met yet. In other words what if I botch what I am cooking!! Just kidding but I think there would be less stress on the first host this way (although I could volunteer my mom's house!).

As of right now I am not available the weekend after Labor Day. Any night that week Monday - Thursday, say 6 pm or later is ok with me. I'm familiar with the restaurant mentioned previously but haven't been there. Sounds good to me.

Hello again,

Unfortunately my mom has decided to back out. I just wanted to let you know since you're trying to organize first meeting and I left my schedule. Since there seems to be alot of interest in the western burbs, and probably best to keep to a smaller number, I am going to look for other people interested in forming a city group. Sorry!!
