View Full Version : Leftover Vodka Cranberries

I have the leftover cranberries from making the Cranberry Vodka Liqueur, and I just hate to throw those cranberries away. I'm trying to think of a way to use them, but I'm coming up blank.
Has anyone done something with them? or does anyone have any ideas about what I could do? I feel like chocolate would be a good thing to add, perhaps cookies?

you could make a wonderfully sauced sauce, sweet or savory, to serve on the side of leftover ham or turkey or whatever...
or chutney, or cook them with a little sugar, add some citrus zest, cool and mix into cream cheese for a great schmear...
and i'm sure they would be wonderful in any quick bread or mufin that uses cranberries, though you might need to toss them in some of the flour mixture before adding to the batter, as they will sink faster than raw/frozen berries...
they would be an awesome addition to a cranberry ice cream or gelato, as the vodka tinge will help it from overfreezing---
