just wondering if anyone had tried those lavender recipes from the June issue (? maybe July)
The biscotti and the teacake looked yummy, but I am wondering what kind of lavender to use. Like the little potted plants you can buy?? and just crumble the leaves?

I made the teacake and it has become a repeater for me. It had a mild flavor, a good texture and was excellent with tea.I used the perennial lavender (a hybrid) and it worked just fine. You use the leaves, not the blossoms or stems.

I have made the lavender lemonade several times and everyone has commented favorably. I would recommend it for a different twist on lemonade.
