I'm looking specifically for a sport bra that has enough support to do a workout, yet also separates the girls instead of smooshing them together like my current sport bras do. I've found it to be kind of uncomfortable, especially when using some of the weight machines when I have to lean my chest against a part of them and the girls are smooshed together.

So, are there any sport bras that support AND separate the girls? I also sometimes like to wear a sports bra around instead of the regular, underwire kind and just don't like the big, uni-boob look. :o

Thanks!

About the only ones I can wear are Moving Comfort
http://www.movingcomfort.com/sports_bra_basics.php

They have bras for D cup and high intensity sports combined - which is hard to find. I guess women with large breasts dont run...

Double D's here and I love my Bendon Extreme Out High Impact Bra.

I bought it at Freshpair.com. Some of the positive reviews are from E and G cups. I figured if it was good enough for them....

People also like Enels but I tried one on and it took for-EVER to get into it.

I have several styles from Moving comfort, but this style remains my favorite:

I'm right there with ya. One key for me is to avoid the racerbacks -- I always go for the type with two separate straps that connect to the back independently, just like a conventional bra.

Look at the 3+ barbells section on Title9:

I've been using this Champion bra for years:

It looks like they are sold out of some of the colors, and their prices are high besides. Here's essentially the same thing on the Champion web site: http://www.championusa.com/Champion/Products/Women-Champion/Women_ShopByCategory-Champion/Women_SportsBras-Champion/Women_SportsBras_HighSupport-Champion/CH072.aspx

Thanks for the responses and links! I appreciate it. I was kind of hoping to not spend so much because I'd like to get a few. But, the suggestions give me somewhere to start. Thanks! I really hate buying bras.

I would not skimp on sports bras. I can on the ones I use for cycling (no bouncing!) but for running and skiing I want all the support I can get. I like the Moving Comfort Fiona but it does not separate.

For running I like the roadrunnersports.com sportek bra, C/D. but it will smoosh you into a uniboob. price is good and holds up well. I get zero bounce with this one.

moving comfort are good but beware racer backs that hook in the back. Look at the dori bra. How does anyone get into or out of these these? I just removed the hooks and sewed the back strap together. I wear this now as an everyday bra but could not hook it myself. In theory front hooks should be good but I haven't found one I like or that fits.

I like this one too. I also have the Frog bra from Title 9. Both are smooshers though. I have problems with chaffing in the hook area on sports bras so always get the t-back, over the head ones.

This made me chuckle because it's so true---it's like you are not supposed to run if you have large boobs!

Beware of this. I have several MC bras, think they are the dori. the old ones were T-back OTH style. the new ones have back hooks, and not only do I find them impossible to hook, they jab me in the back besides. I got so mad I took one apart, tore out the hooks, and sewed the back together and it works better. I just ordered a new one, was assured "no back hooks" and guess what... back hooks. so it goes back. I ordered another bra at the same time that was supposed to be no back hooks but it's not here yet.

For me to get no bounce, OTH T-back no hooks is the secret. Course, my chest is one undefined hump, but WTH.

I love the Ta Ta Tamer bra from Lululemon. Their description says "Tames your favorite girls without smooshing them down!" :)

I love the fiona too, as I have very small shoulders so need an adjustable strap - but it looks like the cara has them too. I am going bra shopping Sat and will look for this one
