Quick Help Please!

Hi everyone...I'm new to the message boards, but I've read several of the topics and been greatly interested and amused by what you all have to say. Certainly makes me laugh a lot when I viist! Anyhoo...I am having a dinner party this evening and can't quite decide what to serve for a main dish. Currently, I am deciding between the Chicken Fricasse with Orzo and the Chicken Bruschetta. Can someone direct me as to which may be better received by a group...am going to serve a salad, cheesecake and perhaps coffee and biscotti. Any other ideas would be of great help too! I know you guys will have some ideas, you always do! Thank you!

I can recommend the chicken fricasee. It's easy & very tasty. Haven't tried the other.

I haven't made the Chix Fricasse with Orzo, but I made the Chix Bruschetta, and it was great. In fact, I made it when friends came over and it was quick and easy. One suggestion; do all prepping beforehand! I didn't realize how ling the chopping would take, and therefore was a slave in the kitchen!

Thanks for the input...I've decided on the chicken bruschetta assuming that it will please more palates than the chicken fricassee. Now a vegetarian has been added to the guest list and I think I need to toss together a risotto of some sort. I will be sure to start cutting the veggies early--can I do that even a few hours beforehand and simply refrigerate them? Then I can clean my filthy house....Thanks again!

you can definitely chop the veges a few hours before hand - that is what i did and then it was very quick to throw together.

Well, I have't tried either, but I saw some very good reviews for the chicken bruschetta-I hear that is very easy and tasty, too. Not much help, I know, but I am a bruschetta fiend!

I made the chicken bruschetta last Sunday and it was very good and very easy! Haven't tried the other one though.
