I would love to start a supper club in the Capital District area. Any interest out there?

There doesn't seem to be a club in the Capital District yet, so I figured anyone who is interested can get together and decide the paramaters together. Yours is not the first reply (the others were marked private) so for now we're watching and building interest. I'm open to all different ideas, and think it would be great fun to come up with a mutually satisfactory set up.

Hi! I live in the city of Albany and am interested. Have you had many responses? What are your intial thoughts about how this should work? My husband and I have two year old and would love it if it were also a chance for our son to play with other children (shared babysitter or playdate) but would not be disappointed if that wasn't the case - and it could be an adult night out for us. We both like to cook but he's the inspired chef of the family...can and will try anything.

Ok, I'm glad to see this starting again. I tried setting up one in early summer but at the last minute EVERYONE backed out. I have no solid theories other than I'm 25 and everyone else was older. But, in any case, I'd be thrilled to be a part of an ALBANY group!!!

Things are moving forward nicely in terms of interest, and I think if we get a few more it might be worth meeting somewhere to see what we can do. We have some friends and family in Manhattan, so I need to let the dust settle and account for everyone, which may delay the club a week or two, but let's all keep watching the board and hopefully we can start up soon.

I am sending an email to all other interested parties, but have no address for you, so hopefully you'll see this here.

We have a total of seven people interested in an Albany club, which is not a bad place to start.

I thought if everyone agrees we could coordinate a date, time and restaurant to meet. That way we can see if everyone is still interested, if we all get along, and toss around ideas for a new club.
