Any supper clubs in Santa Cruz County, CA?

I am currently living in Soquel, CA and I would love to get a supper club going in Santa Cruz County. My fiance and I are both in our early twenties and are looking to meet more people our age in the area!

We're in Monterey and are a bit older than you but still like to eat :-) What do you think?

It would be great to have anyone who is interested. I would like to see if we can get at about 4 couples? What should our next move be?

We're not down there yet- will be arriving 9/20. I can invite people that I meet in our class (my husband is in the military and Im taking a language class with him).

What do you want to do next? I will be arriving on 9/21 in Monterey - there as one other person who posted regarding a supper club in Monterey - if we can get her, we'll have 7-8 people - plenty to start a club.

Also, VeggieGal - don't know if you're looking to meet single men but we have a single friend living in Monterey who is also looking to meet people -

The way most of these things work (I think) is that the group meets for a meal out first to see if personalities are compatible, etc. What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good idea... does anyone have good ideas about where and when to meet? I guess after the 20th, once Cerise is here, would be best! A weekend meal might be good... brunch, lunch or dinner - weeknights are tough for me but fridays could work. Not that my schedule should decide it!

And, yes! ... a single man looking to meet others would be a welcome addition, in my book. :)
