Does anybody know what Framboise is? where I would find it?
I found a recipe that calls for 1/4 c of it.

Framboise is a raspberry brandy. You can probably find it at your local liquor store. I'm not sure whether there are any suitable substitutes, but www.foodsubs.com (http://www.foodsubs.com) might have the word on that.
Good luck,
Phoebe

Phoebe,
Thanks so much for that web site. What a fantastic resource. I know Ill use that site again, I'm constantly running across ingredients that I don't know (i'm kind of new to this) Thanks a bunch
It says that you can substitute Framboise syrup if you like. I will try to find that. If I don't I won't make the recipe anytime soon. No alcohol for this girl...I'm pregnant!
thanks again,
Lori

Lori-
Congratulations! Try looking for frambroise syrup in the spice section of a gourmet grocery store. That's where I've seen it.
