Chicago Supper Club - Looking for new members

Our supper club has been meeting for almost 6 years. We are looking to increase our membership of women over 40 who can meet one Sunday night a month. We take turns hosting and everyone contributes to the menu. This is a great group of women. We hope to meet great new women who love to cook, eat, and talk about food.

Hi. I am interested in finding a Chicago CL supper club to join. I am wondering if you are still looking for new members? My only catch (and I understand if it is a deal-breaker...) is that I really do not have room to host. I rent a one-bedroom condo with limited seating. I would be willing to try to compensate for this in some appropriate way. Thanks for any info. Lyn

I used to belong to a cooking club but ended up leaving the group because I had too much going on but all that is finished and am looking for a group to reconnect with. I would love to find an active group to become part of.

Hi, Lyn. I just saw your post today. We are a small group (4) and we are looking to add 1-3 new members. I'd have to talk to the other members to see how they'd feel about not hosting - although we have met in small spaces before - we don't expect lavish surroundings. Two members left recently - one to get married and move out of state, the other due to a death in her family - and we'd like to return to about 6 people. We meet once a month on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. until about 8, and our themes change every meeting. Most of us live on the northside of the city - one in Pilsen - and we try to carpool as much as possible to our dinners. Please let me know if you are interested and why you want to join a supper club. We are meeting on May 23 this month. Maybe you can join us.
