Okay, this may be stupid, but I have a question about Curry odor. As you may know, if you ever cooked with it, it leaves a strong odor throughout the house for days. If you used curry alot (like almost every night) will the smell eventually get into your carpets, drapes, and furniture like cigarette smoke?

I would love to know how to get rid of the lingering odor of curry. My roommate, who is tolerant of most of my cooking antics will not allow me to "play" with curry. I asked this question on another bulletin board once, and using incense was suggested. This is not an option as incense makes me ill. Any suggestions?

Maybe you could try something like Fabreeze. It works really well to get smells out of fabrics. I've used it a few times and it's always done the trick for me, and it didn't harm any of my fabrics.
Just an idea.

I love curry...but if you use it a lot, everything will smell of it, including your clothes. I have even smelled it on people, and it had nothing to do with their cleanliness or lack thereof. It just seeps into everything..
