Is bourbon the same thing as whiskey? I want to make the bourbon salmon, but all I have is whiskey. Help would be appreciated!

Just in case you didnt get your question answered....I believe Bourbon is a type of Whiskey.

However, those of us in the bar business would think of whiskey as scotch but bourbon as bourbon!
