Pirates Booty - Mainstream sighting in CT!!

Ahoy, all!

I've got good news for those PB junkies who live in New England! The Stop & Shop (excuse me, the Super Stop & Shop) in Windsor, CT had them!

I was in there getting some supplies, and I thought, "Gosh, I wonder..." as I went past the organic-type snacks and Kashi cereals. Went around a corner and there they were - along with Fruity Booty and Veggie Booty. The price wasn't that great - $2.69, but on the other hand I didn't have to drive 75 miles to the nearest TJ's!

P.S. - Incidentally, I tried the Veggie Booty. It's OK, sort of like what you would get if you crossed a spinach souffle with a cheese curl. Needed more cheese.

I didn't want to like it. I really didn't.

But I did!

Pirate's Booty made its way into my pantry (for 24 hours!) after I found it at a Meijer's in Columbus. Maybe it was a difference of what side of town I was on, but I found it right down the aisle from the Kashi.

Only $1.99 for me! Time to go get some more -- it's good.

I'd never heard of "booty" before reading this board, but lo and behold they had an endcap at TJ's when I was picking up some other stuff. I got a couple of bags of Pirate's booty and one of Fruity booty. I hid it in the pantry, well my 7 y/o caught me eating it and wanted some. I forced her to have Fruity Booty first and it wasn't a hit (okay I was trying to get rid of it). Then she tried a piece of Pirate Booty, took the bag from me and proclaimed, "YUM! I'm going to eat this whole bag and then lick it out!" Oh no! Another addict!
