OK... this just happened to me for the 3rd time. If it happens a fourth time, I may be BALD!!! :)
I type in a LOOONG reply to a thread... and click to post it. I get a message saying something like "You have included too many images in your post. Please go back and correct the problem and then continue again." BUT, I can't GO BACK to my message to simply let me delete some of the smilies... NOOOOO! It takes me to A BLANK "Reply to Post" page! And there seems to be NO WAY to get my original post back. I have tried hitting "Back" and "Forward" and even standing on my head :) - but it is GONE! (Although, it DID seem to work once... by clicking on BACK, I was taken to my original post... but THAT hasn't happened the other two times!!!)
Which means that those other 2 times, I had to start the post from SCRATCH again, and that was VERY frustrating. (Especially when part of one was a very long recipe I typed in! Wah wah!)
Lately, I have actually been "copying" my messages before I post them, at least I can "paste" a new one easily, in case that happens again and the post goes off to cyberspace. But that seems like "make-work" to me!
So, my questions: What IS the limit on smilies?!! And, if I get that message again, is there a sure-fire way to get back to the original post, (and is it on some kind of a "timer" feature?) or is the post, indeed, lost forever and must be re-created?
Thanks so much!!!
Lynn
