Until the problem is resolved, you can keep clicking on the Captcha refresh icon until words that are easy to see come up. You can also click on the audio Captcha.

I was just posting on a diffrent site and they had a math question (like 2+3) that you had to complete. Just a general question, does that accomplish the same thing? Or is the aggravating letters more "protective"?

This is really annoying and totally pointless. Captcha isn't something that stops the kind of spam we get on this board.

And I'll second the I can't read them half the time and that applies to most of the ones I've seen, not just the one here. And I don't keep the audio turned on on my computer, so I sure don't want to mess with that (anyway, just tried it and can't make any sense out of it at all. Some woman gives really clear directions and then the rest is just gibberish).
