Wow it is a huge double issue with 460 recipes and tips. Let's see. I counted 119 recipes in the recipe index. Minus 5 that I counted that were duplicates, there might be more. That is 114. So 460 minus 114 = 346 tips.

Well, they do have two delicious looking pies on the cover. Thank goodness it's not a turkey. :D

I always love the holidays issues. Looking forward to some good reviews pre-turkey day!

I was looking through it last night, and actually marked a couple of recipes! They must have known that my subscription is almost up!:p

Is it a double issue - Rachel Ray and another magazine I get had two months in one. Which is fine - I am usually too busy in December to look at recipes - except cookies!

All I know is it says November 2011, Huge double issue, and from what I can tell, there is nothing about Christmas in it just Thanksgiving.

I just picked up a copy at the supermarket this morning. I opened it at random to take out an irritating insert card, and lo and behold! a recipe for Crispy Pok Medallions that I immediately marked for future reference. I've since marked another recipe, and I'm about 2/3 through the magazine.

But alas, it's another Thanksgiving Feast issue with stuff I wouldn't make even if I had a family to cook for. (My family on both sides cooked very differently from this kind of stuff -- no creamy/cheesy casseroles, to begin with. And I Do Not Bake.) But there are some really good tips, and a couple of very interesting articles. Oh, and gorgeous photography. I think this issue will be a keeper.

Cheers,
Phoebe

Thinking about renewing my sub. instead of just buying the holiday issue off the stands... it sounds great.
