Looking to Form or Join Supper Club in Rhode Island

I live in Newport, RI and would love to
find couples/singles interested in forming
a supper club. Looking for similar food/wine enthusiasts.

I am glad to see a thread for RI. My husband and I were in a RI Supper clubs established through cooking light and enjoyed it. As time went on, the majority moved out of state and it dissolved.
We reside in North Scituate RI, we are in our "young" 50's, enjoy great food, wine and just love to entertain. We miss our club and would love to form another!

So glad to see a response to our Supper Club post. Since you are the experienced one in this forte, what is the next step to getting this group together? I think we might have one other couple interested, also.

Ideally the group should consist of at least eight people. There is always going to be a dinner that some can't attend. I may have a few people that may be interested as well. I will work on that and in the meantime maybe we will get a few more replies on this post.

Tell me a little something about yourself and your cooking preferences.

I think we should try to get something formed and shoot for a date after the holidays. In the meantime, I'll keep you posted.

I dabble into all types of food. In winter
I like to cook more rustic/ethnic dishes, some Russian recipes or short ribs, some heartier Italian dishes. We love curry and often do Indian dinners (not as complicated ingredient-wise as our Indian friends do). In summer we do a lot of outdoor grilling with all types of fish and seafood, cedar planks. We will be gone for three weeks and then are here for the whole winter except for one week the end of Feb. We will be returning around the 9th of Jan. Would love to plan something for the winter months. Let's stay in touch. Have a wonderful holiday. Sherry
