My neighbor is selling hers and I am wondering if it's worth buying? I walk, but will use it in the winter because I will NOT walk in the cold, I know I should but too much of a wimp. So what do you think - is it a good investment??

I had one and gave it away when I moved last year. It was noisy and boring, I just couldn't get into using it at all. Maybe others have had better luck. Gina

DH and I got one before we got married, so about 6 years ago. I used it, generally listening to the radio or watching TV because it is kind of boring otherwise. I did find it a good workout and lost several pounds and inches. With two kids and tendonitis it's hard for me to get out to walk, run, or bike ride.

I did find that I have to go pretty fast. I think they recommend 40 reps a minute, but I was doing more like 60 to get a really good workout. I would try to workout for 20 minutes with stretching before and after.

We have not used it much in the past 3 years, mostly becasue of time. We haven't been doing any other regular exercise either. I may try to start working out again when DD goes off formula and I have a little more time in the morning, or I may just sleep a little later:)

Yes, I agree. While it's not that you can't get a good workout on it, and is especially good for people who can't run or walk, etc., it is INCREDIBLY boring!!! I couldn't stay on it for any length of time. I gave mine away years ago.
