Too Many E-Mail Notifications!

My inbox was clogged today with multiple notifications that "so-and-so" had replied to "such-and-such" a thread. I had 23 messages, most of which notified me of the same two posts!

Anyway to stop this from happening again?

I don't have a solution, except turning off the feature, but I'm having the same problem. There were 12 notices about the same posting that came in about 4 minutes apart. Anyone else?

I'll try and figure out what's going on. In the meantime, I can only agree with Sarah that the quick fix is to turn off the feature. To do that, go into "User CP" then "Edit Options" and click no by "Use 'Email Notification' by default" I'll let you know what happens.

Okay, you know what's wierd? I turned off the e-mail notification when the deluge of letters started coming.

And yet -- I got an e-mail about your update! :eek:
