Raspberry-Cream Cheese Brownies

I am interested in making the Raspberry-Cream Cheese Brownies (June 2000 CL)to say thank you to a couple of coworkers who have helped me out of a bind. I know they both like raspberry brownies.

Has anyone tried this receipe? What did you think? If you didn't like it do you have an alternative raspberry brownie receipe? If anyone could post me to an old thread that had reviews of this receipe I would also be greatly appreciative.

I make them and thought they were quite good. I think I remember several favorable review last month. Good Luck!

Loved them! I also added some frozen whole raspberries on top of the cream cheese layer. It made it a little more raspberry-ish.

Maybe I was in the minority on this one, but I made these and didn't care for them at all. I ended up throwing half of the batch away. I thought they tasted like "diet" brownies and so did my husband. But I don't have an alternative recipe, sorry. I did try the "ooey-gooey peanut-butter chocolate brownies" in the new sept. 2000 issue and they were awesome!
