In reading my October issue (very very early this time), I noticed a quote .......is it you Natasha.

"I'm curious about whether people prefer any particular country's wines. When you purchase or drink wine, do you tend to choose Californians and other domestics, or foreign vintages (Italian, French, Australian, Chilean, German, or others)?"......Natasha, Ontario, Canada

If so, can I have your autograph? :D

Natasha.....I'm so glad it was you or I would have been very embarassed!

Oh, and for autograph, I would much rather have a nice thick slice of homemade Tuscan Italian Bread which also has a nice crunchy crust with unsalted butter that has been softened and put through a pastry bag for you to squeeze out your name! Of course I would let you pick out a nice white wine to go with it! :D :D

That is so great that you are "in" the October issue! How excited you must feel-I am so happy for you.
Even though I haven't received my October issue (and probably won't for at least another week and a half:(!), I just wanted to say I am looking forward to seeing it.
I also always save everyone's debut in CL magazine and will never throw those issues away.

Congratulations Natasha!! I'll look it up if I ever get my October issue!! I used to be one of the first on the block, and my September issue was at least 2 weeks behind everyone else! :confused:

You all ROCK! Thanks so much for your kind posts. I have to say that I also have not seen the October issue and probably won't for a few days! Oh, well...I still have a few other magazines to get through, like last month's Gourmet and this month's Bon Appetit, so I can definitely wait. :)

Mamasue, your wish is my command. I hope you enjoy that Tuscan bread 'n' butter (and the accompanying Italian white wine)! Will you sing "Mr. Ed" for the occasion? Please?

Sneezles, you asked what I chose in the poll. I chose Italy, because at the time I had been tending to choose Italian wines (especially Pinot Grigios). It was a very hard choice, though. And more recently, I have been tending to choose more Californian, Australian, and Chilean wines, so if I were to run the poll again, I would likely have to modify my choice :o. Sorry for the long-winded answer, but there you have it! :D

And a final note to the Goddess: Cheers and Prosit and all that other good stuff.
