I have made a few things over the last week and wanted to add my two cents :D
Grilled Cuban Sandwiches 9/01 - WOW! I never thought ham and cheese could be so good! I think it was the addition of pickles and dijon that really perked it up. Very filling, good weeknight dinner with a Tucher HefeWeizen Kristall beer. YUM
Balsamic Chicken with Grapes and Almonds 9/01. Eh. This was okay. didn't seem to be much flavor, but I think the chicken breasts I used were too big and soaked up the juices too much. also, the skin peeled right off the grapes (I made this twice, happened both times)
Smoked Gouda Pizza 8/01 - this was quite good - I loved the gouda flavor. I forgot to add the basil, though. will do it for the leftovers, though. I wanted to add more olive oil and garlic to it.
Shiitake Mushroom and Gorgonzola Pizza - DH liked this the best (I made both pizzas last night) - it was very flavorful - the sour cream layer really took the bite out of the blue cheese. I think I would use all wild mushrooms next time - instead of the button, use portobello or all shiitake.
