oh my goodness! I'm addicted!

I recently tried the two free issues of Cooking Light at my DD insistance and loved it and am currently waiting for them to start my paid subscription, which means I have missed out on an issue! I hope I don't miss anymore... Any way, in the mean time I found this site and love it! Two weeks ago at work we went from eight hour shifts to twelve hour shifts which leaves me with a few days a week at home, exhausted from working the three twelves in a row. Anyway I got on here cause I couldn't get myself to do anything else, and here I am, addicted! This morning I couldn't wait for DH and DD to leave for school and work so I could get on and check out whats going on!! I am so bad! I have alot to learn on how the site works but I guess I'll just play with things and see what happens. Thanks every one!:D

Hi Dcornelius and welcome. It is addicting! Everyone here is so very nice. My little sister is going to school at the University in Pheonix! Are you near there? My dad lives out in AZ, in Scottsdale. They just love it.

This is a very addictive place to be, but it's a good addiction. You'll learn a lot (and not just about food):)
I think quit a few of us are very bad and are on this at work!! Of course I would never do such a thing:eek: (yeah, right!)

It's so easy to get addicted to both the magazine and the website. DH just doesn't understand it and shakes his head and doesn't get it. He does, however, enjoy better home-cooked meals than any of his friends or family members. So, he doesn't complain when I spend 24 solid hours devouring each new issue the second it arrives.

What's esp. fun about this website is that it's not just about food. You can always find someone who shares your interests and has some advice, stories or encouragement to share.

Be sure to also check out the supper club section. It's not very active with discussions/menus/etc, but it's a great way to find other CL addicts in your area!
