This may seem strange, but does anyone know if you can freeze yogurt or yogurt-based sauces? I had a fondue dinner planned with some friends in which I was to bring the sauces--unfortunately it was postponed a week and a couple of the sauces were yogurt based.

Looks like I will have to redo the sauces next week in order to ensure the proper consistency. Oh well... Thanks for your help, Anne.

Hi Kristi. I freeze yoghurt all the time. The consistency changes a lot, it starts to separate. I think it still works fine for smoothies or if I strain it and use it as a substitute for cream cheese or sour cream for cooking. I suspect you might have the separation problem with the sauces.
