Has anyone heard it if it is available? If you have -- what do you think? I would be lost without it and have even broken down and started purchasing CookPaks to save on my own data entry.

First, MC stands for Mastercook which is
recipe software that you can use to organize all your recipes.

Second, I just checked the Mastercook site and it is available. I'm glad you asked that question because I didn't know it had come out. There is a CL version with 3,000 recipes - the 5.0 has only 1400, so it must include some more recent years.

If you're looking to buy it, check out some of the other sites that carry software, like www.amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) - their prices are usually better.

Looks like it's $29.95, at both those sites.
