Happy Thanksgiving to all of you "up north"! Although, some of you aren't as far north as I am.

Thank you Erin for the reminder. I had planned to post a message but with the news today I forgot. Everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving:)
Thanks Everyone. We are having our feast tomorrow- Kim I believe you posted the stuffed squash recipe I am making!!!At least I think it was you!! My premenopausal mind suffers from blackouts now and then. Be gentle with me.....:D

Thanks and a happy Thanksgiving to you all! We just came back from a wonderful dinner at my inlaws and am feeling very sleepy.....lots of turkey and wine! Tomorrow we have another turkey dinner at my aunt and uncles. Tonight I was on dessert duty - pecan pie and maple apple blueberry crisp. They both turned out pretty good.
I think I'll go and take two Tums and call it a night! ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to all the "Great White Northerners". I am American, but my fiance is Canadian so I get the good fortune of celebrating my favorite holiday twice!!! Have a great day and remember to EAT TOO MUCH THEN TAKE A LONG NAP!!
Enjoy!

Thanks, Erin, for starting this thread, and for your good wishes. I would like to also extend my best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians out there. I made a few dishes ahead this afternoon and am so looking forward to a very pleasant time tomorrow (okay, and a big feast too). Cheers! Let us all be grateful for that which we have. :)

A Happy Thanksgiving to you too. We had our celebration yesterday, and I'm still full! LOL! It's going to be a lazy day. We're looking forward to the yummy leftovers.
Blessings to all.

I would also like to wish all a Happy Thanksgiving! Could someone explain how it came to be in Canada? Is it celebrated for the same reasons as it is here in the US? I have always been curious but never knew anyone from Canada to ask!

Sneezles,
Here's a site that will fill you in - I'm sure there are others but this one is nice and succinct!
