View Full Version : Kung Pao Tofu question

I know several of you love this recipe, and I need some feedback. I made it according to the recipe, gently tossing the tofu in the rice flour/salt mixture. The coating got really nasty after cooking though, especially on the leftovers the next day. I ended up putting the remainder in a colander and rinsing the goo off. Did I do it wrong or is it just my personal taste? I thought it was excellent otherwise, and plan on making it again without the rice flour nastiness.

I made this also (using Phoebe's recipe), and although I loved it (raved about it, in fact) this happened to mine, too.
I'll be interested to find out if I screwed up or not. :)
