http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/eek.gif I got a large Le Creuset cast iron wok last Christmas and still haven't used it. I am totally intimidated by the whole "seasoning" aspect. I need encouragement...and any tips (& recipes!) on using this contraption before my husband gives it away.
Thanks,
Susan

Susan -- don't be intimidated http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
The basic concept is heat, grease and use. The steps should be laid out in the instructions for your wok, and once you start you'll find that they're not complicated.
Once you have the pan seasoned pretty well once, you shouldn't have to do it again for a long time (unless your pan falls into a lack of use).
http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif I'll be back if I think of anything else.

Thanks, lorilei! I will just have to spur myself on to do it! I mastered http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif the waffle iron this morning (see waffle thread) so now onto the wok!
