Any advice on how to remove a white-out blob from my new pair of black (cotton) pants??? This happened at school today and plain old water didn't work. We just moved in and we don't have our washer & dryer hooked up either....

Try isopropal (rubbing) alcohol on a cotton ball. Just dab the spot on your pants. This worked getting dark brown waterproof cream eyeshadow out of my light taupe carpet. Can't even tell it was ever there. Be patient, though. It make take a little time.

When I was pregnant I was more clumsy than usual and I spilled a lot of "Liquid Paper" on my black maternity outfit (It was the first time I wore it). I called the manufacturer and they advised me to take it to the cleaners and told me what to tell them - how to treat it. I did not dab water on it or anything else. The cleaners removed it ALL, and you couldn't tell at all. I don't know if it will come out now that you have put water on it. It's worth a shot to call the manufacturer and ask them though.

my first impression was to say "buy new pants." However, I think you can get it out with some patience. I believe there is a great spot removal list on the oxygen website ... don't they have lots of How-To lists on there?

Andrea - How frustrating! You might call the telephone number on the back of the white-out bottle and see what the manufacturer suggests.

I had the same problem a while back with a black skirt, and used a product called goof off with mixed results. My skirt was one of those polyester/nylon blend stretchy things and although the stain got much lighter, it just didn't seem to want to come out entirely, even after hours of scrubbing. :( I hope you have better results with your pants. If you find something that works well, please let us know. Good luck!
