I am cooking in a chili cook-off next month, so will see what I think of their chili powder. I also plan on using the Chipotle in some, as an experiment (not sure if they judges would go for that).
I've never tried curry before--so am going out on a limb with that. And I get sick of buying 6 cans of chicken brothe every time I go to the grocery store, so decided to try their soup base, as I think I recall reading good things about it on here. Can't wait to get it all!

If you like the smoky flavor of chipoltes, you can add that adobo seasoning to pepper jelly. I made a batch that way, but you could probably stir a little into a jar you buy and let it sit a while before you use it so the flavor can develop.

Isn't Penzey's fun? I have used the sweet curry powder and add the heat with other ingredients. I am told they are identical except for the heat, so you should be very happy. If it's too hot for your taste, just order some of the sweet and blend them. Have fun.

I love spicy food, in case you couldn't tell. :)

If I get on the ball, I might make some pepper jelly with some of my home grown habeneros to give it a kick.

I'm looking forward to trying the curry. I hope I like it.
